"I enjoy experimenting with many different art materials and palettes of color. At times I can describe my artwork as being abstract in nature with very expressionistic, sketchy strokes, but at other times it can be more focused and precise. In the end, I prefer not to limit myself to any particular style. I think it is important to let the art flow out of an individual with whatever medium that is available. Technology has allowed my artistic expression to grow and change, and therefore my art will continue to evolve into something new."
Biography: Lindy is a graphic designer and freelance artist with a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Graphic Design/Illustration at Southeast Missouri State University. She has displayed her artwork in many exhibitions from local to nationwide. Her involvement in these shows has given her artwork recognition through several merits and awards. For many years, Lindy has designed business logos, flyers, publications, postcards, ipod skins, greeting cards, handmade books, magnets and more. Her most recent magnetic collection of original illustrations can also be purchased in the gift shop at the Arts Council of Southeast Missouri. In addition to design, Lindy has a strong passion for creative art making such as acrylic painting, experimental collage, digital art, and advancements of mixed media/relief sculpture.
